i saw a glove on the ground today, and it was dirty and smashed up, but the pointer and middle finger were sticking up in a peace sign. i was like 'aaaaawwwesome!' but i have no camera. lol

so. i hate people, that's no secret.

my school has this thing once a week on saturday night (to like, limit people's drinking) and it's a party, well, there was a dance party tonight, and alllllll the music sucked, (which was WEIRD, because the four DJs were homosexuals) it was like 'shake your booty that" "like my pussy" this. it was totally sucktastic

i hate rap music, i can't dance to that unless i want to get pregnant, please...
so anyway, i request shake it. and then we had another girl in out group request shake it b/c.....i wanted to hear shake it,
so, an hour passes, two hours pass, of me STANDING THERE while everyone else jams out and like, humps the floor (for serious. HUMPED THE FLOOR) it was awful. i felt like i was in a sex room at a dance club for prostitutes...

anyway, the rest of the people i'm with (who i don't particularly like, i mean, one guy actually corrected the way i was dancing to "get jiggy with it" like, who the FUCK cares?) are like "we're gonna go in a few minutes"

so we stay for "one" more song, then SHAKE IT comes on, and i scream and jam the fuck out, and EVERYONE else in the room is just standing there like it's the worst song ever made, so then this (i'm not racist, just giving you a visual) large black girl comes up to me and is like, dancing around, i flick her off and dance away, she goes back to her laughing friends... fuck that bitch, so i'm having fun FINALLY and everyone else is bored (story of my life)

so metro station is done and i figure we're gonna leave, THEN MORE TECHNO COMES ON! so i'm dancing my ass off, finally having a good time, and i look around and THE WHOLE ROOM is just standing there....totally lame

i hate people. why do they have to ruin my fun? i'm off to google "gay dance clubs in indiana" lol

gotta find some cool people to dance with.

i get really heated when it comes to music conversations..

how many people listen to lyrics? like. i'll listen to a song a couple times and get the lyrics a few times. and i usually like to make sense of the lyrics...

like, happy pop music, it's about sex and boyfriends and girlfriends usually
there is some political metal and stuff, and some depressing sum 41 lyrics and stuff

and some lyrics are just funny, like, blink 182.

but my boyfriend says he doesn't like lyrics. he doesn't ever listen to lyrics (i suppose with the exception of weird al...with which why would you listen to anything BUT the lyrics, who would write a song about bologna)

anyway. does anyone else out there just like "hate" lyrics? i think it's so disrespectful to not listen or care about the lyrics. like, he goes so far as to say he wished there were only instrumental songs. like, it's something to have like, instrumental songs that are supposed to be. but i've often seen that artists write lyrics first... not all, but some.

on the flipside, i'm sure some write the music first and then the lyrics, they wouldn't care if you don't like them.

In fifth grade, the "smart kids" read The Phantom Tollbooth while the rest of us dumbasses read something else (i don't even remember what) but then when they were done with it, we all watched the movie, i was so furious. like, i was too fucking dumb to read the book, but i could watch the movie. what is that? i think that was a huge mistake on the teacher's part. it was for real stupid. and i was mad (still am obviously) and i realize it's something stupid to be mad over, but i guess i still am. i wanted to read that book so bad after watching the movie, but i never did b/c i was afraid i was too stupid to read it.

well, i may have been on the lower spectrum of everything in elementary school, but i was in the upper 90th percentile in my high school class, and i'm in college and doing well now. so *sticks tongue out*

So i'm reading it :) lol. and it's cute. kind of like an alice in wonderland for the new generation, with a boy main character. actually. it's parallel to alice in wonderland. (idk why i'm not underlining that... lazy i suppose) anyway. that quote also reminds me of something my friend jessica says:

How morbid, well, pessemistic i guess, not morbid. but still. i live by that quote. lol. and yet, i was still disappointed this weekend. but it's not anybody's fault. so i'm over it.
today i woke up, got lunch (not usually done on saturdays) worked out (not usually done at all) and i've been doing chacha for about three hours now.it's a slow day on the chacha front. so i've been buzznetting and drawing and coloring and stuff too.

i have been COMPLETELY absorbed in my sorority, and my studies. for real. i spent 7 hours in the library yesterday

ha. i had to go to a school board meeting in my town yesterday. i totally slept through it! lol, embarassing, good thing the other girls around woke me up and i left. haha. i have been reading children's books non stop.

our pledge event is going to be over tuesday (thank goodness)
christmas is coming up soon. that's cool.

uhm. i need to bleach my hair out... the roots are like OUTRAGEOUS :) but i think i'm going to do a deep burgundy, like, red. adam said he likes redheads. idk where that came from. lol. but i figure i'll make him happy. and i have to conform because of schools. whatever
